XIII GBM–Triennial Conference of Union Bank Officers’ Congress (AP & TS) was held on 01.03.2026 at Hyderabad.

The conference was inaugurated by G. Sanjeeva Reddy, President of the Indian National Trade Union Congress, whose address reflected strong commitment to working-class values and national responsibility. The proceedings were presided over by our beloved Chairman M. M. Bhaskara Rao, whose leadership continues to inspire discipline, courage, and integrity.

The event was graced by distinguished personalities including M. G. Gopal, IAS (Retd.), Vigilance Commissioner, Telangana, and A. V. Ranganath, Commissioner, HYDRAA. National leaders from the Indian National Bank Officers Congress, R. K. Chatterjee and Prem Kumar Makker, also addressed the gathering. Representing Union Bank of India, M. Ravindra Babu, CGM, Hyderabad along with other Executives shared valuable insights.

The speakers addressed key contemporary issues faced by bankers such as bilateralism, cyber frauds, loan fraud risks, vigilance challenges, honesty and integrity in public service, and important industry concerns including five-day banking and PLI. The clarity and relevance of the deliberations were widely appreciated by the participants.
